PULEVA presents a book about child nutrition at the SENBA conference


Nutrition during the first stages of the development and growth of the human being is a key factor in determining health in the later stages of life.  Some of the current guidelines about child nutrition were detailed in the course sponsored by Puleva within the framework of the V Conference of the Spanish Society of Basic and Applied Nutrition (SENBA), which was held at the end of April in Bilbao.

The Conference brought together the top specialists in nutrition.

The SENBA Conference was held in the Euskalduna Palace in Bilbao on the 25th, 26th and 27th of April, where more than 300 specialists in nutrition gathered to debate and expound the most revealing advances in the field of nutrition.

Within this prestigious framework, Puleva presented the second volume of the book “Spanish Nutrition Clinics: Child Nutrition”, led by two of the most outstanding doctors in child nutrition, Javier Aranceta Bartrina and Alfonso Delgado Rubio.

Puleva intends for this book to be of great use to the largest possible number of professionals linked to paediatric care, primary care, nutrition, diet and public health.

Within the forum of the SENBA Conference, the food company sponsored a course on "Child Nutrition", the objective of which was continued training in the field of diet and nutrition in periods of growth and development.

The importance of maternal milk, the influence of probiotics, Omega 3 fatty acids and calcium in a child's diet were some of the aspects covered on the course, led by professionals and specialists with an interest in the field of Infant and Juvenile Nutrition.
